Thanks to the feed back that SNK Playmore received by releasing Metal Slug 3 to PS4 and Vita last year, the highly requested late-90’s fighter, The Last Blade 2, will be coming to PS4 and Vita on May 24. The port of the game will be available for Cross-buy and feature both Cross-Play and Cross-Save Functionality.
On its release, The Last Blade 2 was an innovative 2D Fighter game which focused on the twilight days of the Samurai. Players could choose between 18 fighters (featuring The Last Blade’s original 12 fighters including the game’s boss, 4 new fighters and 2 hidden unlockable fighters) with the focus 3 different fighting styles, Power, Speed, and Extreme modes.
No pricing was given for the re-release of this fighting classic, but this will be a must buy for any fans of the Fighting genre.
