Originally set to launch on the same day as it’s Xbox One and PS4 counterpart, the upcoming Need For Speed has been pushed back on PC from November 3rd, to sometime in spring. The developers behind the game, Ghost Games, wrote a blog post about the delay which cited fan comments and concerns from Twitter and Reddit about the upcoming racer, and stated that having more time on the title will allow them to the chance to produce an “Unlocked Frame Rate” and a stronger visual experience.
Despite the delay, the game will launch with any content updates received by the console versions up to that point, allowing it to be an identical experience for the players. Ghost Games is currently planning a console only closed Beta to test the online “Live” and “Connected” portion of the game. You can sign up for the beta here.
