It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia creator Rob McElhenney announced a new series coming to Apple TV during Ubisoft’s E3 presentation, in which Ubisoft’s Gérard Guillemot is listed as a producer. The show is about a fictional game studio working on the world’s most popular MMO called Mythic Quest in which McElhenney plays studio head Ian Grimm.
While the original teaser set up the idea of Mystic Quest and that Grimm having a huge ego, the latest trailer expands on that by showing more of the show. Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet will focus on the development team as they attempt to work on the next big expansion to the MMO while dealing with Grimm being a jerk.
The show also stars F. Murray Abraham (who can be recently seen in the Disney+ remake of Lady and the Tramp), Danny Pudi (Community), Imani Hakim (Everybody Hates Chris), David Hornsby, Ashly Burch (Life is Strange, Horizon: Zero Dawn), and Jessie Ennis. The show’s executive producers include It’s Always Sunny’s Charlie Day, David Hornsby and Megan Ganz, as well as Jason Altman, Danielle Kreinik and Gérard Guillemot from Ubisoft.
