We won’t have to wait long to get more information about Capcom’s highly anticipated Street Fighter 5 as the company has announced plans for a Street Fighter panel at San Diego Comic-Con this year. Attendees will hear from “Capcom’s Street Fighter experts,” as well as executive producer Yoshinori Ono.
“Learn how you can earn big money and everlasting fame by competing in the Capcom Pro Tour, culminating in the Capcom Cup Finals later this year,” the panel description reads. “Plus, get a first look at all the must-have Street Fighter and SF5-licensed products and promotions in store for the rest of the year!”
Capcom is a frequent visitor at Comic-con, usually announcing updates to working projects and live-action adaptations of their properties like Resident Evil and Street Fighter. The panel will be held on day one of SDCC, July 9th at 11:45 a.m. PDT. Street Fighter 5 is currently set for a 2016 release on PS4 and PC.
