Gameitall The surge of Warhammer related video games continues, this time with the tactical RPG called Mordheim: City of the Damned. After impressing players on PC with its turn based tactics, Perma-death and brutal gameplay, the game finally comes to PS4 and Xbox One today!
Mordheim will see you take control of one of 4 Warbands, The Human Mercenaries, the Sisters of Sigmar, the Skaven of Clan Eshin, and the Cult of the Possessed, and sends you on a mission to collect valuable gems called Wyrdstone, created by a comet impact that destroyed the depraved city of Mordheim.
Players can engage in a full single-player campaign for each of the 4 Warbands or take their team online against other fighters in an attempt to control more Wyrdstone. Although every decision comes with consequences as perma-death and chance of critical injury can destroy your team or leave fighters missing a limb or an eye.
In terms of gameplay, the game looks and feels similar to the XCOM series, but with Warhammer Fantasy flare to it. Check out the launch trailer above. Mordheim: City of the Damned is available for Xbox One and PS4 today, and is already available on Steam.
