Just like the PS4 exclusive Horizon Zero Dawn and the Street Fighter content cross-over fans of Monster Hunter World have enjoyed since the game’s launch in January, MHW next big cross-over has been announced and is appropriately timed with the release of the game’s HD collection.
Capcom announced via a special trailer highlighting that the next collaboration event will be based on Devil May Cry, allowing players to equip Dante’s weapons and wear the iconic demon hunter’s costume. The trailer showcases Dante take on some of the series trademark monsters with his transforming sword and gets away with some monster meat in tow.
Capcom hasn’t set any date for the collaboration as of yet, however the items will be available through special event quests in a similar fashion to unlocking Aloy in MHW. The announcement comes on the heel of the release of the Devil May Cry HD Collection which recently launched on PS4, Xbox One and PC, which includes the first 3 games of the series, leaving out Devil May Cry 3 and the Ninja Theory DmC – both of which already received the Remastered treatment earlier in this generation’s life.
