Capcom has confirmed that the Beta test for the highly anticipated Monster Hunter World will start this Saturday, December 9th at 9AM PT and end on Tuesday, December 12th at 8:59 AM PT, for all Playstation 4 owners with an active Playstation Plus account.
According to Capcom, the Beta will feature 3 quests across 2 environments from the game. “In the Ancient Forest, you can hunt a fierce yet beginner-friendly Great Jagras or as a more experienced player confront the mighty threat of an Anjanath. In the Wildspire Waste, a massive, dry expanse with swamplands, you can face off against the intermediate level mud-slinging Barroth.”
Quest can be played solo or with up to three other players, and the beta will feature 14 different weapon tipes and access to the new training room. Players who complete the quests in the beta will also be rewarded with som “usefull bonus items” when the full game is released.
The game will be available for download on December 8th and is exepected to eat away at 5.9GB of free space on your hard drive. Monster Hunter World is set for a January 26 launch on PS4 and Xbox One, and will hit PC later in 2018.
