Gameitall Monolith Production’s (Creators of F.E.A.R. and Condemned) upcoming Tolkien-inspired action adventure games, Middle-Earth: Shadows of Mordor, has received a new story trailer and a release date of October 8th 2014.
Shadows of Mordor takes a bloody look at the Tolkien’s Lord of Rings books (and the Peter Jackson-directed film adaptations) and places you in the shoes of a Ranger who on a quest for revenge, using fear tactics as well as combat that is similar to the Assassins Creed. The Nemesis system is the big game changer in this game, with the ability to enrage, frighten and track your opponents.
Pre-ordering Middle-Earth: Shadows of Mordor will give you access to the Dark Ranger DLC pack which includes a new character skin, new challenge mode and access to the game’s online leaderboards. The game is stated for PS3, Xbox 360, PS4 Xbox One and PC.
