Media Molecule’s ambitious game-making toolkit, Dreams, has been in early access since earlier this year and the stuff that has been leaked from the access has been nothing short of incredible, with users who did share their work showed off the ability to recreate some of their favourite games and some cool artwork.
During PlayStation’s State of Play Livestream, we got a new trailer showcasing some of this work – which showed off a variety of cool cinematic work, gameplay for a bunch of different games like shooters, platformers, even a Wipeout-like racer. More importantly, the trailer also gave us a release date of February 14th, 2020. It was later confirmed that the game would have a price tag of $29.99USD.
Dreams was first announced at Sony’s press event at E3 2015, the game was being billed as a new “build your own world” type game that was going to be much deeper than Media Molecule’s previous game – LittleBigPlanet, however, it was never clear just how expansive the game would be in the end.
