The second installment of IdeaFactory’s Horror/Dungeon Crawling RPG hybrid, Mary Skelter 2, is coming to the Nintendo Switch in North America and Europe.
Mary Skelter: Nightmares, was originally released on the Playstation Vita in 2017, featuring a horrific world where humans have been placed in an underground prison and stalked by powerful creatures called Nightmares. The player forms a party of young women called Blood Maidens, who have special abilities to help fight the monsters and turned into overpowered creatures when covered in the monsters blood.
The sequel will expand on some of the core elements of the game, and brings back protagonist Jack, who is now a Nightmare himself. Players can use his Nightmare abilities to defeat enemies, but at a cost. It will be set in an alternate reality which will include familiar faces from the first game, and players must relive the torturous dungeon experiences and find away to feed the prison.
There is no release date for Mary Skelter 2 on the Nintendo Switch yet, however we do know that it will be an eShop exclusive at this time. One extra bonus is that the first game will be included with the sequel so you won’t have to worry about getting confused with everything that’s happening.
