Nintendo of America has confirmed that 2 pieces of DLC will be coming to Mario Kart 8 adding more characters, vehicles, and Tracks to the already packed racer. The first pack will include Link, Tanooki Mario and Cat Peach as playable racers, 8 new tracks with two cups with the Triforce and a Yoshi egg representing them, as well as 4 new Karts including the Blue Falcon Cart from the beloved but ignored F-Zero series. The second pack will be based on Animal Crossing and adds Isabelle, the Villager and Dry Bowser to the roster and at least one confirmed Animal Crossing theme track.
Both packs are available for Pre-Order now and will cost $8 each, however a bundle package is also available which saves 25% off the price lowering it down to $12. The Zelda pack is set to launch some time in November while the Animal Crossing pack will be May 2015, pre-ordering the packs will allow you to play as 8 different colours of Yoshis and Shy Guys immediately.
