Back in the early days of the PS2, Rockstar Games released one of the most violent games to grace the console and it wasn’t GTA3. The game was Manhunt, a game where you had to sneak around and preform brutal kills using plastic bags, baseball bats, crowbars, and various other weapons in a deadly game of cat and mouse. It was dark, violent, grotesque and probably one of the most interesting cult classic of the PS2.
It sounds weird to say out loud that I really enjoyed this game.
Rockstar Games announced today on their official Facebook page that Manhunt will be making it’s way to the PS2 classics on next week’s update, this almost rounds out the complete collection of Rockstar games on the PS2 with the exception of Max Payne 2, Oni, and The Warriors. Rockstar recently suggested GTA 1 and 2 will be joining the PS1 classics. Rockstar also announced in a reply to fans asking about The Warriors that it is also in the works and will be coming soon.
