The critically acclaimed horror/adventure title Little Nightmares will explore a different escape story in three DLC chapters titled together as “The Secret of the Maw”, which will act as the game’s Expansion Pass.
The Secret of the Maw will have players take control of The Runaway Kid, who like Little Nightmares’ Protagonist Six, is looking for a way to escape this prison of horrors. The expansion will be divided in three chapters, The Depths, The Hideaway, and a last secret location that Bandai Namco is holding on to surprise us.
In The Depths, the first chapter to be released in July, the Runaway Kid will explore a decayed and flooded basement where he must try to escape from an insidious threat that lurks underwater. In November, you will be able to visit The Hideway, a machine-themed section where the Nomes reside. The third and final chapter to be released in January will decide the fate of The Runaway Kid.
Little Nightmares is available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The Secret of the Maw is available with the newly released Expansion Pass and Complete Edition which includes the base game.
