Legend of Zelda gameplay shown at The Game Awards

A special unexpected treat was given to viewers of Friday Night’s Video Game show in the form of Shigeru Miyamoto and Eiji Aonuma showing the first Gameplay footage of the upcoming Wii U Legend of Zelda. The gameplay video had the two presenters commentating on the new features which included a vast and very green open world, as well as some cool combat mechanics which included a slow-motion arrow shot while jumping off Epona’s back.

While The Legend of Zelda was the most prominent thing in the presentation, there was talk about the upcoming release of Star Fox Wii U and Majora’s Mask 3DS. While no release dates have been given for the three games, Majora’s Mask 3DS and Star Fox Wii U are both stated for 2015 while Zelda is To be Announced.
