While you’ll never get to rest your head on Final Fantasy XV Cidney’s lap or spend some alone time with the girls of Dead or Alive: Xtreme 3 (unless you import the game), Marvelous got you covered with some wet and wild virtual reality fun thanks to a free update for Senran Kagura Peach Beach Splash.
With the release of the Valkyrie Drive – Bhikkhuni- DLC Character Pack, Marvelous has pushed out the Virtual Reality Content Patch (otherwise known as Patch 1.03) which is now available for free on PS4 for both Europe and North American regions.
The VR mode adds two different modes found in the Locker Room/Shower area which allows you to “Get Close” to any of the 30+ characters from the game. While the first mode is more one on one oriented, the second Diorama mode allows you to create scenes with up to 3 characters of your choice, allowing you to pose and dress them as well.
In other words, the same content that could previously be found in the Shower/Locker Room only in VR.
Patch 1.03 also marks the first time that the western version of the game will have content parity with the Japanese version with the release of Rinka and Ranka from another Marvelous title, Valkyrie Drive – Bhikkhuni- aka that game where you turn on your partner to turn them into weapons. They join a cast of third party DLC characters from a varity of different titles including the likes of DOA.
Despite all the pervertedness in the game, we thought Senran Kagura Peach Beach Splash was a fun and unique third person shooter that definitely deserves some more attention. You can check out our review here!
