As revealed on the latest PlayStation Blogcast podcast, a standalone Killzone 3 multiplayer download will be available on PSN. The mode will be a free download tomorrow, like most of us, we would think that there is a fine print on this deal like having to be a PSPlus subscriber.
Well sadly there is, the fine print being a level cap. When you hit the cap, if you want to continue leveling up, you’ll be able to pay $14.99 for the “full” multiplayer experience.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen something similar, Fight Night Champion released it’s single player mode separate on the PSN for $5, while the full game content was released for $29.99, we may be seeing a new trend in games.
