Suda51 and Grasshopper Manufacture’s Killer is Dead will be coming to PC on May 23rd with an updated “Nightmare Edition.” will be priced at $20 and will be available at retailers and digitally. The new version will include a new “Nightmare” difficulty which will only allow kills to be preformed by three moves – Adrenaline Burst, Dodge Burst, and headshots. Also included is the “Smooth Operator” DLC and a Theatre mode which will allow you to review past cutscenes.
To run Killer Is Dead: Nightmare Edition, you’ll need a minimum requirement of Windows Vista 64-bit, a 2.0GHz processor, 2 GB of RAM, a GPU that can handle Shader Model 3.0 and 13 GB of space, whichshouldn’t be too taxing for your gaming rig. Recommended specs jump up a bit, calling for an Intel Core i5-2400 Processor, 8 GB of RAM and a NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450.
We’re huge fans of Suda51’s weirdness; but we had found that his latest game, Killer is Dead, to be almost too strange for his own good. Do we still recommend people play it for it’s weirdness? Yes Absolutely, but you might want to start off with something along the lines of Killer7, No More Heroes and Lollipop Chainsaw first.
