It’s no secret that Jimi Hendrix was one of the most influential guitarist of all time, so when the team behind the guitar-teaching simulator Rocksmith 2014 went up to the Hendrix Estate for upcoming DLC, according to Studio SF Community Developer Dan Amrich, they wanted to go big.
So instead of getting Rocksmith’s usual 3-5 song pack, the Jimi Hendrix Experience pack will consist of 12 songs which include the following:
· Bold As Love
· Castles Made Of Sand
· Fire
· Foxy Lady
· Freedom
· If 6 Was 9
· Little Wing
· Manic Depression
· Purple Haze
· Red House
· The Wind Cries Mary
· Voodoo Child (Slight Return)
The song pack will be available on December 16th for a grand total of $29.99, but people who own the PS4 and Xbox One version of Rocksmith 2014 will be able to get this pack as a timed exclusive pack for the low price of Free.
Of course there is some minor details with the free package. First of which you need a copy of Rocksmith 2014 to purchase the free DLC, as the promotion is done through the in-game store, and the DLC is not backwards-compatible but if purchased from the PS3/Xbox 360 version, the pack will be purchased on the PS4/Xbox One.
