Naughty Dog’s PS2 Platformer series, Jak and Daxter, will be coming to PS4 under the PS2 Classic banner later this year according to Sony. All three games plus Jak X: Combat Racing will be upscaled to 1080p Resolution, and will see PS4 features including Trophies, Share Play and Remote Play when the titles relaunch.
Along with Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter were considered Sony’s Mascots during the PS2 era, earning three titles and a racing game before Naughty Dog would eventually move on to the Uncharted and Last of Us series.
The Jak and Daxter trilogy did see a re-release on the PS3 however this will be the first time that Jak X will be available outside of the PS2 as it was never made available digitally for PS3 and was not part of the collection.
