The award-winning (and hiliarious) FXX Comedy series, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, is getting a video game adaptation thanks to FoxNext Games and East Side Games as a Free to Play Mobile game titled “It’s Always Sunny: The Gang Goes Mobile”.
In the mobile title, players will team up with The Gang: Mac, Dennis, Dee, Charlie and Frank, and get wrapped in a new ridiculous money-making scheme as Frank comes into a bunch of dirty money and needs to hide it from the Feds. As Mac, Dennis and Dee bicker and backstab over the laundering schemes, Frank task Charlie with hiding the clean cash in a safe place.
“At FoxNext Games, we take pride in selecting the best studio partners to bring our games to life, and East Side Games’ reputation of creating deep, dynamic mobile worlds made them the perfect match to transform It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia into a one-of-a-kind gaming experience that extends the show narrative,” said Rick Phillips, President of Licensing and Publishing, FoxNext Games.
There is no release date currently for It’s Always Sunny: The Gang Goes Mobile, but the developers has given a release window of 2018 iOS and Android devices. It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia is returning for a 13th season on FXX on September 5th 2018.
