Today marks a big day, it`s the first time that Valve has put a movie up for download on it`s Steam Service. The movie is Indie Game the Movie, a documentary featuring the development of several Major Indie Games, such as Super Meat Boy and Fez. The movie is $10 and is an absolutely stunning look at Indie Games and the people who make them.
And just in time for the movie, Valve is also having a sale on several indie games as part of the Potato Sack Reunion tour. This is in reference to Valve`s guerrilla marketing campaign set around Portal 2 in which players were set to do a specific in-game achievement to collect Potato Sacks in order to gain access to Portal 2 early. This was a commercial success, so in memory they are selling 13 popular indie game`s for half off or all of them for the low price of $20. Listed in this pack is Amnesia: The Dark Descent, AudioSurf, Super Meat Boy, and Killing Floor, just to name a few.
If you would like to purchase any of these, head over to Steam and take a look.
