By now it’s no secret that Kojima will be leaving Konami, however fans were shocked to hear that he will be joining up with Activision to create the next Call of Duty title. Activision announced that with Kojima and his team joining Treyarch, Sledgehammer and Infinity Ward, it will allow them to circulate a 4 year development cycle which will start fresh after the next game in the series.
Kojima’s Call of Duty title has already seen some plot development as well as a pending title of Call of Duty: Anubis Knights, which promises a story full of military conspiracies, Mechs, long cutscenes and plenty of confusion on top of Call of Duty’s classic FPS gameplay.
Development is set to start shortly after the end of Metal Gear Solid V.
