Here are the winners of The 2014 Game Awards

gameawards

The 2014 Game Awards happened last night and what a show, a definite improvement from the Spike TV produced years prior. While there were still a good chunk of announcements including new trailers for highly anticipated titles like Metal Gear Online, Bloodbourne, No Man Sky, Witcher 3 and a Gameplay trailer for The Legend of Zelda Wii U, however we’re going to save those for other posts.

It was a great night for Nintendo who walked away with 4 awards including best family friendly, best sports/racing for Mario Kart 8, Best Fighting for Super Smash Bros Wii U and Best Developer. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt stole the most anticipated game award from this highly favoured Batman Arkham Knight. South Park Creator Trey Parker won best performance betting out Kevin Spacey and last year’s winner Troy Baker for his role in South Park: The Stick of Truth in which he quoted “Only in Video Games would Trey Parker beat Kevin Spacey for Acting.”

Of course the big Winner was Bioware who took the only award that matters, as Dragon Age: Inquisition walked away with Best RPG and Game of the Year.
