The men and women in these categories gave their all and delivered a great and memorable performance. Here is our choices for best Performances.
BEST PERFORMANCE MALE:
Roger Clark as Arthur Morgan – Red Dead Redemption II
Greg Bryk as Joseph Seed – Far Cry 5
Christopher Judge as Kratos – God of War
Yuri Lowenthal as Peter Parker/Spider-man – Spider-man
Takeshi Kitano as Toru Hirose – Yakuza 6
THE WINNER:
Christopher Judge as Kratos – God of War
If you would have told me in 2005 that I would become emotionally attached to the brutal killing machine that is Kratos the God of War, I’d probably laugh in your face. However thanks to the team at Sony Santa Monica and Christopher Judge, we got to see a more vunerable Kratos but still deliver the rage we expect from the character.
BEST PERFORMANCE FEMALE:
Camilla Luddington as Lara Croft – Shadow of the Tomb Raider
Valorie Curry as Kara – Detroit: Become Human
Laura Bailey as Mary Jane Watson – Spider-Man
Melissanthi Mahut as Kassandra – Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
Erica Lindbeck as The Black Cat – Spider-Man
THE WINNER IS:
Melissanthi Mahut as Kassandra – Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
Kassandra was this year’s break out gaming star and Voice Actress Melissanthi Mahut is largely the reason why she is such a beloved character. With the game giving us the choices to build Kassandra’s legacy through ancient Greece, the Greek Canadian actress was able to keep up delivering at times the gravitas of a Spartan while delivering a caring nature when it came down to the situation. Ubisoft has now cemented another memorable Assassin to their list and we hope to see more of Kassandra and Melissanthi in the future.
