The Fullbright Company confirmed to DualShockers earlier this week at the Game Developer Conference that their hit indie PC game “Gone Home” will not becoming to consoles. “Gone Home for console is not actively in development any longer,” stated Fullbright’s Steve Gayno.
The console edition of Gone Home was set to be published by Midnight City, an indie publishing branch of Majesco. Gayno stated in his interview that their relationship with Majesco “has sadly come to an end.” This has lead many to speculate that Majesco’s recent financial difficulties has lead to the cancellation.
Fullbright is still looking to the future though, with a new game on the horizon titled Tacoma, which is set for a 2016 release.
