One of Ubisoft’s promised updates for their co-operative shooter – Ghost Recon Wildlands – was a multiplayer mode in which players can take their squad of 4 fighters and find out who is the better Ghost Squad?
Ubisoft has announced that the PVP mode (called Ghost War) will be available as a free update to all Ghost Recon Wildlands owners in the fall, but they will do a beta test on all platforms later this summer to make sure everything is balanced and to test out some new features.
Ghost War will feature two groups of 4 in a Team Deathmatch experience. Teams will choose from a roster of varied classes that will fill specific roles, and navigate large-scale open maps to take down the opponent. Ghost War will also include new PvP based mechanics, including suppressing fire and sound markers.
While we enjoyed Ghost Recon Wildlands, it is definitely better with friends. Check out our review here.
