Ubisoft announced at E3 that they were working with Marvel for an Avengers game, however did not give us any specifics on what kind of game it would be. That has recently changed as Ubisoft showed off the game at Comic Con revealing it to be a Kinect and Wii U fighting game.
Now the big question is how will this work? Well according to some eager fans who got to try out a few battles using the Kinect; you will have some basic abilities such as punching, knees and clapping for all characters while big moves such as Thor’s Lighting require specific techniques to pull it off, such as raising your hammer up and then point it down, or as the Hulk crouching and raising your arms in throw items.
Also shown at Comic Con was a new trailer highlighting that the game would be based off the Secret Invasion storyline, and there was mention of 20 playable characters including Black Widow, Captain America, Doctor Strange, Hawkeye, Hulk, Iron Man, Loki, Magneto, Spider-Man, Storm, Thor, Venom, and Wolverine. We can expect to brawl as our favorite heroes in the Fall for the Kinect however there is no news on the upcoming Wii U version.
