Gerard Way is the former front man of the Emo Alternative Punk/Rock band My Chemical Romance(they called it quits in 2013), and MCR was best known for albums such as “I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love (2002), Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge (2004), The Black Parade (2006), and hands down their best album: Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys (2010). afterwards he did a collaboration Professional Griefers with Deadmau5, and in 2014 he released a solo album Hesitant Alien.
And in 2018 Gerard Way has has come back in a big way by released 3 new singles including Baby You’re a Haunted House, Getting Down the Germs, and finally Dasher” ft. Lydia Night, the song features additional vocals from Lydia Night the lead singer of The Regrettes.
The song Dasher is another great example of how great of a singer Gerard Way is as the song has so much raw emotion, and is probably the closes thing you will get to that emotional mellow MCR sound, the song also features Lydia Night chilling spoken vocals in the middle of the song. Lastly I am fully hopping we get a full album in 2019.
