2014 was a great year for RPGs, with fans seeing a lot of JRPG title hit NA shores, Bioware releasing their massive sequel to Dragon Age. Here is what we thought was the best RPG to be released in 2014.
AND THE NOMINEES ARE…
SOUTH PARK: THE STICK OF TRUTH – UBISOFT/OBSIDIAN/SOUTH PARK STUDIOS
DRAGON AGE: INQUISITION – BIOWARE/EA
TALES OF XILIA 2 – BANDAI NAMCO
HYPERDIMENSION NEPTUNIA re:Birth
CHILD OF LIGHT – UBISOFT
AND THE WINNER IS…
DRAGON AGE: INQUISITION
There wasn’t any doubts for Bioware fans that Dragon Age: Inquisition was going to be good. The game took the best parts of Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age 2, pushed away all the crap and added huge maps with a string of different side quests to keep us entertained for hours. With plenty of replay value, this massive RPG is exactly what RPG fans need for the next gen consoles.
