I believe the days of bad movie/comic book games are almost over. I mean yes there will be the odd ones that are just awful like Battleship, MIB: Alien Crisis and Game of Thrones, but for everyone of those, we get games like The Amazing Spider-man, Lego Lord of the Rings, and The Walking Dead. For our winner we’ve selected one that keeps true to it’s source, while delivering the power of a monster.
AND THE WINNER IS…
THE DARKNESS 2
Digital Extremes had unleashed The Darkness and it was like nothing we’ve ever seen before. Aside from using guns, Jackie can use the Darkness’ demon arms to rip apart his opponents with ease. The game follows the source material faithfully while continuing the storyline set by Starbreeze studios, it features several elements from the comics and introduces one of the comics deadliest enemy into the fray.
HONORABLE MENTION: THE WALKING DEAD
What The Walking Dead does for Point and Click adventure games, episodic and Adapted video games is nothing short of amazing. We were hooked by how the game was heavily set on making choices which will carry out to the rest of the series. The game is full of tense and tear jerking moments that make it one of the best games of the year.
