Ratchet and Clank developers Insomniac Games know that people are scared of change, with them moving away from PS3 exclusives with Sony and joining EA to release a multiplatform co-op shooter may be too much change for people to give the new game a chance. That’s where Insomniac plans on releasing a demo to the upcoming shooter ‘Fuse’ on May 7th over PSN and XBLA. The demo will feature Solo, Online Co-Op and Split-Screen Co-Op allowing players to try all 4 of the Overstrike team.
“When it comes to Fuse, the biggest thing we’ve noticed when sharing it with others for the first time is that playing is believing,” said Insomniac CEO Ted Price. Solo players can use the new LEAP function which will allow you to control any of the 4 playable characters at a time making it very accessible to single-player enthusiasts.
If there is one reason why to support Fuse, Insomniac had mentioned before that there will be no Online Pass, Day 1 DLC, and no microtransactions. So if you’ve been rallying against these things that EA has been known for doing in excess, then this is the way to show it.
