Fortnite Battle Royale has been a huge hit and last week, it received a major map update adding new points of interest for players for players to continue to make the mode interesting for the 40 million players enjoying the game.
The map update released January 18th, and includes a new city area called “Tilted Towers” and underground mines called “shifty Shafts”. There are also updates to existing areas to provide more variety and distinction between areas, giving players more places to lands, loot and fight.
Epic also announced that the game had recently surpass 40 million users playing the game with the game peaking at 2 Million concurrent players. You can take a look at the new updates in the video above.
Fortnite Battle Royal mode is available for free on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Mac, while it’s defense style main game is still in paid early access with plans for the game to release as a free to play title.
