Merry Christmas/Happy Hanukkah/Joyous Kwanzaa/Happy Festivus to the rest of us!
To bridge the gap between And Now for Something Completely Similar and going back to the list, Brendan and Jason get all festive and talk about the musical adaptation of Charles Dickens with Ronald Neame’s 1970 film Scrooge. They talk about Albert Finney’s dual performances as young and old Ebeneezer, you’ll hear Jason’s take on musicals, they discuss the movie removing a lot of Scrooge’s backstory and much more. Plus: if you ever wanted to hear about Baby’s Day Out, deepfake technology, the ghost of Sean Connery and many other things that have nothing to do with Scrooge, this is the episode for you!
The show will return with full episodes on January 4th! Until then, enjoy a couple of short surprises over the next two weeks.
