There is a severe lack of killer animatronics in Hollywood movies these days, but according to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. and producers Roy Lee of Vertigo Entertainment (The Ring, The Grudge, How to Train your Dragon), along with Seth Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg of KatzSmith Productions (Beetlejuice sequel, IT remake) are looking to fix this with a movie adaptation of the popular Five Nights At Freddy’s games.
The project is currently looking for writers to write the first draft for the movie, however reports are saying that FNAF creator Scott Cawthon will be involved with the title in some way.
At this point the project is barely off the ground, however the lore is there that an interesting movie could be made from the title if done right. Would you watch a Five Nights at Freddy’s movie? Let us know in the comments.
