The first of a batch of new content for Ubisoft’s Adventure Game Nominee – Assassin’s Creed Origins – is set to release later this month with a free update, the first paid DLC expansion and the return of a limited-time event.
At some point in January, Origins will received a free update that will consist of a new quest to mark the release of the game’s upcoming Hidden Ones DLC. The update will also include the ability to sell outfits at weaver shops, and ain increase of the item pool in the Heka chests. Players will also be able to obtain items from the Nightmare, First Civilization, Gladiator and Wacky packs.
Ubisoft will also bring back the Trial of the Gods event, which mostly everyone was under-leveled for. So now we can take another stab at taking on Anubis from January 9th-16th, and then Sobek from January 23rd-30th.
The premium DLC pack called the Hidden Ones also launches this month, and will expand Assassin’s Creed Origin’s already huge map with a new region and will have Bayek deal with Romans. Hidden Ones will also include new story content and an increase level cap of 45 (up from 40). The Hidden Ones is included as part of the game’s season pass.
