Even though it was only just a couple of months ago when Marvel announced that Thor would be given a permanent female make-over. While the movies will still focus on the male version, the free PC, Android and iOS game Marvel Puzzle Quest will feature the new Thor in all her glory. As far as matching puzzle icons to defeat baddies go anyways.
Marvel Puzzle Quest has reached its one year anniversary, releasing on October 3rd 2013 on Mobiles (December 3rd 2013 via Steam) and has had over 3.7 Million downloads and features over 52 playable heroes. The game is primarily set around the Dark Reign storyline which ran from 2008 to 2009 following the “Secret Invasion” which focused on Norman Osborne’s Rise to national power. Marvel and the game’s publisher, D3, stated that they will be ending the game’s arch soon in favour of going to other Marvel storylines, they also release a nice little infographic about the game that you can view after the jump.
