Koei-Temco released a new trailer for Fatal Frame 5 that shows off how amazing the gameplay for the popular ghost-capturing horror game will be on the new Nintendo System. According to the trailer, the game will focus heavily on Water, which is perfect since the game is using the Engine from Dead or Alive 5 which showcased water as well as wet skin and clothes, but besides the great Wii U graphics (not being sarcastic here) the gameplay is what stands out.
As with all the Fatal Frame games, the Camera Obscura makes a return however it is now controlled and viewed through the Wii U Gamepad. Viewing through the camera lenses on via the gamepad will allow you to see things you normal people can’t find and of course fight off the different ghosts. For a better example of this in action, you can check out the video above.
Fatal Frame 5: The Black-Haired Shrine Maiden, has yet to be confirmed for North America. You can check out our reviews for Fatal Frame 2 and Fatal Frame 3 which are available via the PS2 Classics section for the PS3.
