There were a couple of big releases leaked out for the North American Playstation Network. First of which, Square Enix’s open world action brawler Sleeping Dogs is coming to PSPlus for free next week, joining the Instant Game Collection. You can see our review of the title here. Also joining the Instant Game Collection in May are Pinball Arcade on the PS3, which includes the Tales of the Arabian Nights, Ripley’s Believe It or Not, Black Hole, and Theater of Magic tables, also the subterranean side-scroller Knytt Underground and one of the best 2D fighters around; BlazBlue: Contiuum Shift Extend.
I think these are completely overshadowed by the release of one of the scariest games to grace the PS2 (as well as the Wii in Europe) Fatal Frame 2: The Crimson Butterflies. The sequel to what is considered the scariest game ever made returns to the Playstation as a PS2 Classic and is priced at $9.99. The game for those unfamiliar with the series is all around fighting ghosts with a magical camera that can steal their souls. You can see our review for the game here. With Fatal Frame 1 and 2 now on the Playstation network, we hope that the trilogy is completed soon and that it does well enough to make Nintendo realize what a treasure they have now that they own the rights to the series.
