Ubisoft’s Far Cry series has been a classic PC gaming staple, the game has had several changes from it’s first release in 2004 when it was first created by Crytek, which featured a ex-special forces soldier fighting his way around an island inhabited by a viscous military doing secret experiments, while the second had you travelling to Africa to find a deadly Drug Dealer in the middle of a Civil War, and finally Far Cry 3 brought you to back to the jungle to save your friends and yourself from Pirates.
Ubisoft is giving everyone the chance to relive the series by releasing the Far Cry Compilation and Far Cry Classic both available now for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. Far Cry Classic bring an updated version of Crytek’s 2004 shooter and features remastered graphics, cutscenes, and UI, and redesigned controls optimized for consoles, it is available for Digital download for $9.99. The Compilation includes Far Cry 2, Far Cry 3 and the downloadable Far Cry: Blood Dragon bundled together in one pack for $39.99.
Europe will be getting the pack in the form of the Far Cry: The Wild Expedition, which will put all 4 games together in one package. This version will be a UK exclusive and will be released next week.
