While I will freely admit that I was not a huge fan of the first one, Dead Island 2 caught our attention at Sony’s E3 conference with it’s humorous trailer and with Yager (the team behind the highly praised Spec Ops: The Line) in the drivers seat. More interesting is Deep Silver polling fans to see what they would like in a Dead Island 2 Collectors Edition for when the game is launched in next year.
The polling features some standard Special Edition items such as art books, character figurines, digital content, then includes some more ridiculous stuff like back scratchers, beer coolers, alarm clocks, character-themed maneki-neko and cat collars. Finally we also have a option for a Real Zombie!
The polling ends on July 14th, and while we would love to see a Real Zombie in Dead Island 2’s collectors edition, we would like to remind you that caring for a zombie is a lot of work since they require you to hide the bodies to those they kill, plus requires a heavy chain and a large shack to keep them safe in the yard.
