As one of my favourite Video Game events to watch, this year’s Evolution Championship Series (or EVO) is definitely on my radar as several high profile fighting games will make an appearance in the upcoming tournament!
The 2016 lineup features nine games as part of the main competition and includes Capcom’s soon to be released Street Fighter V, as well as Nintendo’s Pokken Tournament, Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator and Tekken 7: Fated Retribution. A few Fan-Favourites will return including Super Smash Bros Melee, Mortal Kombat X and Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3.

EVO 2016 will take place on July 15th through 17th in Las Vegas Nevada, with the finals taking over the 12,000 seat Mandalay Bay Events Center. The event will be streamed online via Twitch.
