Finally the long rumored Bethesda MMO has been fully announced thanks to this morning’s leak of Game Informer’s next cover. The Elder Scrolls online is being developed by ZeniMax Online and will take place across the “entire land of Tamriel” according to the Magazine. The MMO’s story will take place 1000 years before Skyrim, and follow the daedric prince Molag Bal as he attempts to make Tamriel part of “his demonic realm.”
“It will be extremely rewarding finally to unveil what we have been developing the last several years,” says The game’s director is Matt Firor. “The entire team is committed to creating the best MMO ever made – and one that is worthy of The Elder Scrolls franchise.”
The magazine is set to cover a variety of the game’s possibilities: soloing, public questing, and a unique new take on PvP, in which the three factions battle over sections of land or a desired position of power.
