The next version of EA Sports UFC is set to release in February and promises to bring some game changing tech to the series with EA’s Real Player Motion (RPM) Tech, pluse a new G.O.A.T. Story mode which will allow players to make decisions for their fighters outside the octagon.
Starting with the Real Player Motion Tech, EA promises over 5,000 new animations captured and rebuilt from the ground up, players can now move, strike, and create seamless combinations in-game.
“UFC 3 and RPM Tech mark a new generation of gameplay in EA SPORTS games,” said EA SPORTS UFC 3 Creative Director, Brian Hayes. “The new animation technology has allowed us to take a massive leap forward in motion and responsiveness. The result is a complete overhaul to gameplay where every move is more strategic and looks more authentic and beautiful.”
The G.O.A.T. Career Mode is a bit more of a change from the last two entries in the series, as players continue to work their fighters to become the best that they can be, they will also get to experience the life of the fighters outside of the Octagon. This includes building up Hype for events, gaining fans, building rivalries and much more. The game will also have a in-game social media system, allowing players to help build their characters persona.
Other modes are coming back as well, from the fan favourite Knock-Out Mode from UFC 2, plus new modes such as Submission Showdown, and Fight Now custom which will allow you to set custom rules for your fights. Finally we also have the new Tournament mode, which acts similar to a survival mode, allowing you to take on multiple fights without renewing stamina or damage.
EA Sports UFC 3 is out on February 3rd 2018, pre-ordering will allow you access to the game 3 days early as well as some additional content for the Ultimate Team mode. UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGreggor will be alone this time on the cover of the title, although looking badass as usual with two championship belts on hand.
