E3 is this weekend and we’re excited to see what to come from some of gaming’s biggest publishers. This year the show has changed as some big players will not be around for the show with both Sony and EA pulling out in favor of their own presentations via Livestreams.
So when is everything happening and what can you expect from each show? Let’s break things down so you know where to watch everything.
SATURDAY JUNE 8th:
EA PLAY LIVE STREAM – 12:15 PM ET
Okay, yes – EA is technically not at the show but its livestreams will be happening for most of Saturday. EA has confirmed that we’ll be seeing more of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, news for Apex Legends, Battlefield V, FIFA 20, Madden NFL 20 and The Sims 4. Each game will be about 30 minutes long with a deep-dive into each. Don’t expect to see much more from the publisher aside from the titles mentioned above.
SUNDAY JUNE 9th:
MICROSOFT – 4:00 PM ET
Microsoft is planning a big show this year, with multiple games to show off, including 14 unannounced first party titles, and Rumours have it that we may even see a glimpse of the next gen Xbox at the show. Either way, if Microsoft can keep up the trend of showing off some amazing titles, we’ll definitely have a great start to the show.
BETHESDA – 8:30 PM ET
At the moment, we know Bethesda will be showing off DOOM Eternal at the show. Bethesda has been tight lipped on what they have to show but confirmed two of their biggest upcoming games, Starfield and Elder Scrolls 6 will not be there. Rumour mill is speculating that we’ll see more content for Fallout 76, Elder Scrolls Online, and the upcoming Wolfenstein projects, as well as the possibility of The Evil Within 3.
DEVOLVER DIGITAL – 10:00 PM ET
Devolver is always a wildcard and we never know what to expect from their show, except for a psychotic and amazing broadcast. We’re hoping for some details about Metal Wolf Chaos, but that’s as much as we’re willing to guess from the indie publisher.
MONDAY JUNE 10th:
PC GAMING SHOW – 1:00 PM ET
The PC Gaming show has been a bit of a lackluster conference, but there is a chance that we might have some exciting reveals during this conference as they have announced that they will focus on more software than hardware. We’re assuming some big titles like Vampire The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 and Cyberpunk 2077 will be some of the bigger apperances that could be at the show.
UBISOFT – 4:00 PM ET
Ubisoft has 3 unannounced games that they’re planning to show off with plenty of rumours around each of them, including a new Watch_Dogs game, Splinter Cell, and something else. We’re likely going to see new Ghost Recon: Breakpoint footage and probably new content for The Division 2. We do know that their Multiplayer Navel Warship game – Skull & Bones – will not be at the show as well as one of there most anticipated titles – Beyond Good and Evil 2.
SQUARE ENIX – 9:00 PM ET
Square Enix is taking over the spot that used to be owned by Sony and it looks like that they won’t disapoint. We already know that we’ll be seeing new Avengers footage, Dying Light 2, and a new space horror title Outriders. It’s heavily suggested that we’ll see content for Kingdom Hearts 3 DLC and the highly anticipated Final Fantasy VII Remake.
TUESDAY JUNE 11th:
NINTENDO DIRECT – 12PM ET
This is a very big year for Nintendo and there is plenty of things we could be seeing during the Nintendo Direct. As we’ll be getting another solo direct later this week, we can expect that Pokemon Sword and Shield will not be making an appearance during the E3 direct, at least in a major way. That leaves room for more news on Fire Elmblem, Astral Chain, Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening, and Animal Crossing, as well as some new stuff that we haven’t seen yet.
