Bioware has confirmed yesterday that the upcoming RPG Dragon Age Inquisition will be running at 1080p, while the Xbox One will run the game at 900p. Bioware tweeted that “We maximized the current potential of each platform,” to let fans know that this was not a planned design choice.
While this may add a bit of fuel to the fire for the resolution debate for PS4 and Xbox One, which was already rising high thanks Ubisoft with Assassins Creed: Unity’s resolution to 900p on both consoles to stop debates, and games like Diablo 3 where Blizzard needed Microsoft Support to boost the resolution on the Xbox One after it originally was locked at 900p.
Bioware also released the PC requirements for the game, with minimum requirements needing 4GB of ram, 26 GB of hard drive space and a AMD Radeon HD 4870 or NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT graphic card. Dragon Age Inquisition is currently set to release on November 18th 2014.
