If you were not one of the lucky few to get into Bethesda’s Doom Closed Beta session this weekend, or if you want another shot at the game before it’s May 13th release, then you’re in luck as Bethesda has announced that they’ll be opening the game’s Beta for everyone between April 15th – 17th.
The Open Beta will feature the same content as the Closed Beta, including two maps (Heatwave and Inferno) and two modes (Deathmatch and Warpath). The Open Beta will also be available on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
That wasn’t the only Doom news Bethesda had for us, as they also announced that they will be adding different amount of Free and Paid content to the Multiplayer mode. One of the free additions, SnapMap, the mode which will allow players to create multiplayer content like gametypes and share them with others, will receive free content updates such as map modules, objects, and upgrades for AI and editing tools. ID will also release new game modes for free.
Meanwhile, paid consist will consist of three multiplayer DLC packs which will include multiplayer content including new maps, hack modules, weapons and playable demons. These will be available for $14.99 each or as part of the season pass at $39.99. The first of these Multiplayer packs will be released in the summer and will include.
