Have you ever thought “How can I get my kid, who is a fan of Doctor Who, interested in coding?” First of which, how oddly specific to list your child’s favourite franchise with the want to teach them something, and second, your in luck.
A new web-based game aimed at kids age 6-12 years old called Doctor Who and the Dalek will be available for free at bbc.co.uk/cbbc, which attempts to teach and inspire to get creative with coding and digital technology.
The game will feature a story written by series writer Phil Ford, a friendly Dalek helping The Doctor who will have both the likeness and the voice of current Doctor Peter Capaldi.
