Nintendo confirmed yesterday that Tomonobu Itagaki’s Devil’s Third will be coming to the Wii U in Q4 of this year. The action shooter will be available at both Retail as well as the eShop, and will feature both single-player and multiplayer components.
It’s important to note that the Wii U version will have both as Itagaki’s studio, Valhalla Studios, confirmed that the multiplayer component will be released on PC as a “Free-to-Start” game on Steam. The studio stated that the PC version “will offer a multiplayer experience tailored for the platform.”
This is an interesting play by Valhalla Studios, and it’ll be interesting to see how this will affect the game’s sales. Are you looking forward to Devil’s Third? Let us know in the comments.
