It’s better to be late then never as Trion Worlds Defiance based on the Syfy series has finally become Free-to-Play.
Players will need an Xbox Live Gold Membership to download and play the game as it is a MMO, with players gaining access to all content through the aftermath of Season 2. Returning players will receive some goodies including including a 30-day patron pass, four character slots, and 1,000 Arkforge.
Defiance was recently renewed for a third season on Syfy with a third season of game content to follow. Defiance was listed as free to play on the PC back in June with the PS3 following in August.
