Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja have announced that they’ll be pushing back the release of their upcoming fighter Dead or Alive 6 to March 1st 2019 from it’s original date – February 15th 2019. The game delay is an understandable one as the developer expressed desire to further enhance and balance the game.
“The title’s development is already near complete; however, we would like to take more time to further polish its balance, gameplay, and expressivity. In return for your patience, we commit to bringing you the best DEAD OR ALIVE gaming experience,” said Yohei Shimbori, the game’s Producer and Director. “I am truly sorry for the inconvenience caused by the release delay of DEAD OR ALIVE 6.”
DOA 6 will bring back some fan favourites and introduce some new fighters including Diego, a new street fighting character, and Nico, who uses electric infused gloves. The game also has some new features in the combat system including a new Break Gauge, which is lauded as the first Super Meter in the history of the series, as well as new environmental interactions.
